This question is asking you to provide an estimate of how many hours you've spent driving with a driving coach or instructor. It's designed to help us understand your current level of driving experience.

Please select the types of driving areas you have experience with your driving coach as it relates to the Maryland Rookie Drivers Log.

Understanding where you’ve driven helps tailor your lessons to focus on areas where you might need more experience or confidence. It also ensures you're prepared for a variety of driving situations when you take your road test.

Uploading a picture of your learner's permit is required to gain access to the scheduling portal and ensure we can properly identify you for your scheduled lessons. This helps us verify your eligibility and ensure the correct student is attending each session.

Have you paid in full for the MDOT Driver Education Program, which includes both the classroom sessions and the 6 required structured behind-the-wheel lessons?

If you're unsure whether you've paid, please check your enrollment confirmation, the ticket emailed to you, or your invoice. If payment has not been received, we will send you an invoice, and payment must be made before you can schedule any lessons.

In closing, here’s a summary of key points to inform the student:

  • Payment Confirmation: Ensure that payment for the MDOT Driver Education Program, including both classroom sessions and behind-the-wheel lessons, has been made in full. If not, you will receive an invoice, and payment must be completed before scheduling any lessons.

  • Learner's Permit: Don’t forget to upload a clear picture of your learner’s permit to complete your registration and gain access to the scheduling portal.

  • Scheduling Lessons: Once everything is confirmed (payment and learner's permit), you will receive an email from Student Services with the link to schedule your lessons. The subject line will be “Information Access”, which contains your log-on details to access the scheduling portal.

  • Stay Updated: Keep an eye on your email for any updates, notifications, or further instructions.

This ensures everything is in order before starting your lessons and helps prevent any delays!
