About the Event

Drivers Edu Driving School is proud to offer the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT)-certified Driver Education Program. This course is a 2-part mandatory requirement for all aspiring drivers in Maryland, created and regulated by MDOT and implemented by Drivers Edu Driving School. By enrolling with us, you are taking a step toward obtaining your Maryland driver's license with confidence and competence.


Course Structure

1. Classroom Curriculum Produced by MDOT (PART 1)

  • Delivered virtually in real-time over 10 days, with each session lasting 3 hours.

  • Led by experienced, licensed instructors who guide students through essential topics, including road safety, defensive driving, and Maryland traffic laws.

2. Behind-the-Wheel Training (PART 2)

    Ticket Policy: Classroom Sessions Only This ticket is valid exclusively for attending the 30-hour Driver Education Program classroom sessions. It does not include or cover the mandatory 6 hours of behind-the-wheel evaluations, which must be scheduled and paid for separately.

    Virtual Drivers Ed + 6 BTW Lessons. This ticket includes the 30-hour virtual driver education program and (6) hours of behind-the-wheel evaluations. Please note that behind-the-wheel evaluations are not automatically scheduled and must be self-scheduled by the student using the scheduling portal, which can be accessed via student services online at www.driversedu.net

  • Drivers Ed + MVA Vehicle

    This ticket includes the 30-hour virtual driver education program and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel evaluations. Please note that the behind-the-wheel evaluations must be self-scheduled by the student using the scheduling portal, which can be accessed via student services online. Additionally, if you purchase this ticket, you will have the option to use an MVA-approved vehicle for your MVA Driver Skills Test at one of the following locations: Hilltop, Essex, Glen Burnie, Westminster, or Bel-Air.

  • Drivers Ed + 2 Extra BTW

    This ticket includes the 30-hour virtual driver education program and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel evaluations, which the student must schedule themselves via the scheduling portal. To access the scheduling portal, students must request it through student services. Additionally, this ticket also includes two personalized driving lessons. These lessons are specifically designed for students with little to no driving experience and require a Maryland MVA learner's permit.

  • The Beginner Package,

    This ticket includes the 30-hour virtual driver education program, 6 hours of behind-the-wheel evaluations, +(10 EXTRA DRIVING LESSONS) which the student must schedule themselves via the scheduling portal. These lessons are specifically designed for students with little to no driving experience and require a Maryland MVA learner's permit.
